In response to the Terms of Reference (T.O.R.) received from the Government of Gujarat at the beginning of 2004, requesting a visit to Gujarat of experts in the fields of (1) Food and Agro-processing Technology and (2) Water Resource Conservation and Water Resource Management, the Identification Mission was planned to gain a better understanding of the potential areas of co-operation between the The State of Gujarat and Israel in the aforementioned fields. The target of our mission was to lay the foundation for the identification of the possibility of a multi-channel, bi-lateral transfer of know-how in the fields of agriculture, water, post-harvesting food processing and marketing practices and technologies.
