ביום חמישי 29/4/10 התקיים יום עיון בנושא התיירות הכפרית – המודל האיטלקי. הכנס היה מיועד לתיירנים, עמיתים ממשרדי ממשלה אחרים, חוקרים, מתכננים, אנשי משרד החקלאות ופיתוח הכפר ולמתעניינים בתחום.
יום העיון היה ניצן ראשון של שיתוף פעולה בין משרד החקלאות האיטלקי ומשרד החקלאות שלנו בנושאי פיתוח הכפר.
