Control of Animal Products - food

​​​The department for the supervision of Animal products is responsible for operating the veterinary supervision of the processing, production and marketing of animal products in Israel and abroad.

The department’s operation focuses on the following fields:

1.     Poultry and ostrich slaughterhouses.

2.     Egg sorting and packing stations.

3.     Cultivation farms and sorting and packing stations of fresh water fish, and fish whose source is controlled cultivation at sea.

4.     Plants certified for the processing of animal products in the following fields:

A.    Plants processing chicken and ostrich meat for export.

B.    Plants processing eggs and their products for export.

C.    Plants processing fish and their products for export.

D.    Plants processing milk and dairy products for export.
