Pathology Lab

​The DOP is intensively involved in instruction and teaching of veterinary students, who also participate and conduct necropsies as part of their studies.

The most important prerequisites for meaningful pathological and histopathological interpretations are the proper conduction of a necropsy and good submission of samples. A protocol for sending specimens is detailed on the separate web page in the DOP site. Below is a detailed protocol for conducting a necropsy.
